Parents Association

Started in 2015, the Cyber Crusaders Parents Association was formed to help sustain the team.  This group of parents in addition to helping increase parent engagement, also help with managing fundraising events, coordinating travel logistics, and helping with build season weekend events such as providing team lunches.

President: Nick Riccio

The association is composed of the following teams:

FIRST Lego League (FLL) - Responsible for helping with the logistics of running the Tune Up in PA FLL Competition.  Main responsibilities would entail planning/running of the concession stand (getting contributions from community, organizing team family donations and running the kitchen day of), helping with team registration and room assignments, creating press release/advertising and purchasing awards (pins and trophies).

Trivia Night - Responsible for planning/running Trivia Night Fundraiser.  Main responsibilities, getting trivia questions together, advertising, prizes, organizing snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, decorations and running 50/50 prize.

In Season Logistics - Build Season - Responsible for helping with build season logistics.  Organizing food for weekend meetings, Brunch with the Bot, organizing local Mid-Atlantic Robotics competition logistics and end of year team banquet.

Non-MAR Competition Logistics - Responsible for organizing team trip to competitions outside the MAR Region.  This includes coordinating travel and transportation logistics to/from competition venues.  Planning events/entertainment to explore the area and organizing chaperons for the trips.
